Many years ago, my family, friends and I camped on Burton Island. We had a great time exploring, but I pined for the backcountry feel of other parks. I have friends who swear by Burton Island though, and my son has expressed interest — something to capitalize on with a 15-year-old! — so I decided it was time to take another look.
