Colchester Causeway — Part of the Island Line Rail Trail, the Causeway is a beautiful place to bike: The former railway route cuts into Lake Champlain, offering wide-open views of the water on both sides. A seasonal bike ferry bridges the 200-foot gap to the Champlain Islands due north.
