Isabean
KID STUFF
Don’t be put off by the “boutique” in its name. Isabean isn’t some hoity-toity shop that caters to the blue-blooded brood with silver spoons and gilded potty seats. This locally owned store has been dressing and accessorizing Vermont’s kids — from newborns to tweeners — for the better part of five years. Since relocating from Williston to downtown Burlington late last year — it now occupies the former PhotoGarden building on College Street — Isabean has earned gold stars from Seven Days readers, whether they’re seeking sundresses for the gals or truck-bedecked T-shirts for the lads. (Or vice versa — Isabean doesn’t color-code our kids’ genders.) C’mon down, park yourself
on the hardwood floor and take a handmade wooden toy car for a test drive. Don’t worry — we won’t tell anyone.
