Judy Stilwell Podgorny, 76, passed away on December 8, 2024, in Chandler, Ariz.
Born on December 28, 1947, in Hillsdale, N.J., Judy devoted her life to the field of nursing, culminating her career as a beloved professor of nursing. Her passion for teaching and her deep commitment to nurturing the next generation of nurses marked a distinguished career. Known for her kindness and patience, Judy was an inspiration, finding the good in everyone she met. Her legacy will continue through the many lives she touched.
She is survived by her husband, Allan Podgorny; and her brother, James Dolan, his wife and their two children.
Judy’s life was a testament to the power of caring and education and will leave an indelible mark on both her friends and the countless nurses she took under her wings. She was dearly loved.
