The new series at Middlebury’s Town Hall Theater kicks off this week with an in-progress work by Vermont singer Moira Smiley and dancer Laurel Jenkins.

Madeleine Kaptein is a summer 2025 culture intern. A rising senior at Middlebury College majoring in comparative literature and minoring in history of art and architecture, she is managing editor of the Middlebury Campus newspaper. Her writing has also appeared in the Addison County Independent.
