Susi Ryan is a fiber artist who has been transforming wool from her farmer friends into whimsical felt creations since 2011 for The Felted Gnome Knows. The plump chickadees, snug foxes and crafty gnomes come alive under her felting needle. Susi’s towering, pointy hats would easily fit into a Hobbit landscape or a woodland fairy party.
You can meet Susi and her fanciful creations at Craft Vermont November 16-18 at the DoubleTree in Burlington. And year round, you can find her work at Three Pears Gallery in Dorset and the Artist Medium in Cambridge.
