Along with apple picking, cider doughnuts and pumpkin patches, a new fall tradition for many is enjoying the changing colors from above in the drone videos that flood social media every season. For the past three years, Armand Messier has been capturing a bird’s-eye view of fall foliage, the local tractor parade, sunsets and seasonal flooding through his business, Northern Vermont Aerial Photography.

Eva met up with Armand on a sunny Sunday in St. Albans to enjoy the colorful display. After a lesson in flying the drone, she got to try on his virtual reality goggles for a real trip.
